Steel Pearl consists of Terry Althouse on vocals, Paul Althouse on guitar, and custom made backing tracks played from a lap top computer through a state of the art sound system

Minimum personell allows for "low overhead". We can charge less without sacrificing the "big" band sound. You will find us extremely affordable when compared to many other entertainers without sacrificing the sound of a full band.

We use a "state of the art", Bose Sound System.
Our Bose System allows for
1) lower volume levels so your guests can converse at normal levels even close to our performance.
2) Its technology and small size puts it in the background, eliminating clutter from the "stage" area.
3) Its power allows us to fill evan a medium to large size room with music without "blasting" out the sound.

We have many years of experience in performing to a variety of audiences. We both have performed in large venues and opened for major entertainers, as well as performing for weddings, corporate functions, and yes , even the occasional tavern. "Steel Pearl" brings the sounds of good music to your next party, conference, or concert.
You'll be able to hear your favorites from the 50's to the present, performed by talented artists
who grew up in the mainstream of popular music.


Our musical styles are eclectic, from Etta James to Nirvana and guaranteed to
entertain you. Don't miss our musical interpretations of artists including
Steely Dan, Alan Parsons, Sade, Stevie Wonder, Gary Moore, and scores of others. We even have a number of original songs that we think you will enjoy.

We are constantly developing new songs to add to our performances. With advance notice, we may even be able to arrange that "special" song that can mean so much to you, if it isn't already a part of our song list.
